Go ahead and ask Him for a date
"This book will challenge you and confront the accepted answers to this question, "What is dating?" In a step-by-step manner, this book takes dating out of the emotional realm and places it firmly in the intellectual realm, allowing two people to become friends before becoming lovers.
This book provides a pattern for "seven intellectual dates" that will help any young woman go through an intentional dating process that will answer the question, "Is this the man for me?”

My name is Alvin "Surreal" Surrency, I am 39 years old and I am conscious poet. I am the author of the books Full Circle and also Intimate Triangle. I've also acted and co-produced in five short films based on my poems. As a person who is always reading and paying attention to current events, I have much to write about. My platform is writing about real life and all of the challenges that we face on the daily; especially being black in America. I'm not a person to fill the world with more hate, we have enough of that already. My writing are the reportings of the bias and unjust system that we live in. My poems express the pain and suffering that too many people go through. If anything, all of my writings are based on the facts of life and also the facts that are being hidden from the masses. I strongly believe in research and learning something new or foreign. In this Age of Aquarius/ information, there's no reason to be ignorant to what's going on within your government and also in your community.
I do base my being and purpose on the backs and shoulders of Nat Turner, Huey P. Newton and Tupac Shakur; all of these individuals saw enough hate in their life to actually research, act on the situation and do their part to change the world for the better.
I strongly believe that we all have a purpose on this earth and I do know that my purpose is to enlighten all of my brothers and sisters. My words are raw, direct and cut-throat, just like the world is; so there's no need to sugar coat anything. I do hope that my words will open and expand your mind to a higher level of conciousness. Giving you a deeper and truthful look at the chaotic world we live in. Again, my sole purpose is to enlighten. Peace and blessings to all.
Joseph E. Dames, III also known by his nickname, Junior Man, was born in
Stuart, FL. Most of his youth was spent as a hard-headed, rebellious man-
child trying to navigate the urban streets of St. Petersburg, FL where he grew up.
At the age of seventeen, after a life-shattering event, that left him
standing before a Pinellas County judge who pronounced a sentence of
25 years to life, he was forced to let go of his youth and freedom.
While in prison, he, with the encouragement and support of others, dug his
way out of a pit of darkness and despair by seeking and gaining wisdom,
knowledge, and understanding that assisted in his transformation from
man-child to the successful business owner and entrepreneur he is today. Now, while living a life of abundant grace and with a committed and determined desire to help deter the neighborhood youth from traveling
the path of destruction he once traveled, Junior Man has a personal mission to “save the children.”

Milagros, a name that depicts the life I’ve lived. It means “Miracles”. After a childhood filled with abuse, confusion, pain and fear, my teenage years were like living in delusion; I was missing from my own life. Into adulthood, I was lost in unworthiness and self-loathing; I desired death! I thought God didn’t want me and hell had refused me. Then, I heard a call to write and I answered. It led me to discover how broken I was. The healing began and I found myself and the love I never believed existed. My eyes were opened and I “saw” beyond enemy lines and found parents that loved me but caused me much pain. I also saw how I had become my worse enemy. I forgave me and then I was able to forgive them. Every day I still find pieces of myself and I simply love them until they heal. The process of wholeness continues...

I also wanted to be an entrepreneur. I tried a couple of work from home but they failed. Now I’m working from home owning my own online beauty supply store. I started the business August of 2019 and it was real slow. Then the pandemic came and my business went sky rocket. I was shocked to do
better in a pandemic than any other time. I also have if you want to start your very own beauty supply, you can do so free of charge. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, author and poet, Kellea Tibbs, has been
writing since middle school. As a poet, who, over the years, has participated
in writing completions, poetry slams, writing poetry blogs, and writing
workshops. Somewhat of a late bloomer, much like the late and iconic writer
Toni Morrison, it’s only been since recently, in her 40s, that Kellea has
decided to pursue publishing her work, to share with the world. As a result,
Kellea writes poetry and commentary from the perspective of what she likes
to call, “modern day adulting”, focusing on what life is like for the “40 and

politics, breaking news, and pop culture.

Hello my name is Harold Pilson. I’m 33 years old and have always been curious about poetry since middle school which is what made me start writing at 14. If I could describe my poetry I would say it consist of various subjects such as; spirituality, black love, black unity, empowerment, drama, self awareness, erotic etc. I pride myself on making people think and smile about what I write. I take inspiration from my surroundings, whether it’s out in public or in the house. It could be a person, place or thing or whatever mood I’m in that suits the perspective of my piece. Im very private with what I write but now I feel that’s it’s time to showcase my work on stage and one day as a collection in a book. I want my poetry to be relatable and a household quote to a point that if it's said in a movie or mentioned in public places that you instantly know who wrote it. There's three things to me that poetry can capture in the moment and that is Euphoria, Anger and Sadness. If I'm able to make people feel all three of those things when they read one of my pieces then I've done my job.
